On Friday, August 11, La Casita will host a closing event for the STEM from Dance summer program. This event will be an opportunity for the girls enrolled in the program to demonstrate their new skills and showcase their work for parents and community partners.
Program participants have choreographed numerous dance performances, designed and coded the lighting for these performances, and learned how to create animated videos which will be screened during the showcase.
Dance instructor Marisa Guzman-Colegrove and STEM instructor Dr. Kelly Gallagher will be present to recognize the girls who have successfully completed the program.
The event will take place from 4:00-6:00 PM.
