Ages 8– 12
Reading combined with creative activities that explore the themes of the readings.
Improve children’s reading skills in English and Spanish.
Engage children in a bilingual, multicultural environment.
Develop a friendly relationship with books, stories and art.
- Inspire children to write orginal story for publications.
STEMTuesdays, 5:30-6:30pm (weekly)
Ages 5– 12
Children work with Latino students from the Syracuse University School of Engineering, to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math through games and experiments.
DANZAFridays, 4:30-5:30pm (weekly)
Learn to dance to the rhythms of música Latina with La Casita’s DANZA troupe. Experience the joy of dance and the thrill of performing for your community!
Students from the Syracuse University Setnor School of Music share their time and talents teaching children to play piano and violin.
